Fill Your House with Summer Flowers (For Cheap!)

One of the best ways to refresh the look of your home is with a bouquet of beautiful flowers. You get a splash of color, natural beauty, and often a nice clean scent to fragrance your space. But while adding flowers to your decor has always been heralded as a great, inexpensive perk for your home, such isn't always the case. Bouquets can cost anywhere from $50 to well over $100; one in every room and all of a sudden your weekly flower fix has become quite a pricey habit. But it doesn't have to be so! ABC's View from the Bay compiled some tips for filling your home with summer blooms on a budget. Of course buying flowers that are locally available and in season is definitely the way to go, not only for the impact on the environment (lots of carbon emmissions are created from trucking exotic blooms all over) but for the impact on your budget too.
