2009 VIP Pride Party

On Tuesday, June 23rd PG&E and LGBT leader Mark Rhoades presented the 2009 VIP Kick-off to Pride celebration at the Historic Fairmont Hotel. The red carpet extravaganza honored 400 of San Francisco's most notable movers and shakers including: Geoff Callan, Wilkes Bashford, Harry Denton, Tim Wu, Chip Conley, Robert Hanson, Mitch Katz, Joy Bianchi and Kate Kendell.  PG&E, a long time supporter of the LGBT community returned as a sponsor despite the recent court ruling upholding the same-sex marriage ban. Other sponsors included Belvedere Vodka, Domaine Chandon, Peroni Beer which added to the merriment of this celebration, while Leftwich Event Specialist and Blueprint Studios give their designer expertise. Also Zipcar gave there support to this fabulous pride event.
