Bouquets to Art Celebrates its Silver Jubilee

Fashion students of local colleges could have given Project Runway contestants a run for their money at the Bouquets to Art 2009 opening night gala, which featured an inaugural floral fashion parade of models in gowns that the students crafted from real flowers. Held on March 16 at the de Young Museum, the party kicked off a week¹s festivities for the 25th annual flower festival sponsored by the San Fracisco Auxiliary of the Fine Arts Museums.
