Looking for a novel way to honor San Francisco's favorite comedian and actor? Look no further than these Robin Williams-themed nesting dolls from local artist Andy Stattmiller.
According to his website, Stattmiller wanted to pay tribute to the late great Robin Williams, so he created this eight-piece nesting doll set to capture all of his favorite comedies.
"It was hard to pick just 8," he commented.
From largest to smallest, Stattmiller painted the unforgettable characters from Mrs. Doubtfire, The Birdcage, Fisher King, Death to Smoochy, Jumanji, Good Morning Vietnam, Mork and Mindy, and Aladdin. Each of the dolls are hand painted with acrylic on wood and range from 7 inches tall to a tiny 0.75 inches.
If Robin Williams dolls don't float your boat, Statmiller also has Batman, Breaking Bad, and The Big Lebowski versions (which we may or may not have already ordered for our new office).
Update: Miss Euphegenia Doubtfire stole the show in the poll with 50 votes, while the legendary Genie escaped from the lamp to take runner up with a respectable 24.
