Can’t get a seat at State Bird Provisions? NO ONE CAN. Instead of whining about it, check out Sprig, currently one of the best food delivery services in San Francisco, where Stuart Brioza, head chef of the James Beard Award-winning hotspot, will “stage” for one night only. Brioza's menu will kickstart Sprig's guest chef series where the city's most celebrated chefs create menus that reflect what they like to cook and eat during their off hours.
It begins this Thursday night, June 12. Brioza's menu is as follows:
- Petaluma Farms chicken with crushed fennel, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and black pepper; with caramelized onions, kale, and chickpeas, with preserved lemon
- Ribs rubbed with lemon, rosemary and garlic next to organic sautèed Swiss chard and roasted rosemary potatoes
- Asparagus, peas, and Hodo Soy tofu stir-fried with ginger, garlic, scallions, sambal, and sesame, accompanied with Sinto kimchi and sesame seed rice
Each dish will run you a mere $10 (plus $2 delivery). Customers can order via Sprig's iOS app or recently launched Android app.
Cortney Burns of Bar Tartine will follow Brioza on June 26.
