Thursdays just got even better. Jumping on the bandwagon of afterhours parties, the Contemporary Jewish Museum will now offer an Oy Vey soiree on the first Thursday of every month from now through September. Kvetch with friends while downing a few Manischewitz shooters and take in some art while you're there—audio gems of days past in the museum’s "Jews on Vinyl" '50s-style listening lounge or the West Coast’s only showing of "Chagall and the Artists of the Russian Jewish Theater."
Once you're finished inside, step out into Jessie Square for the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival's Let's Go Dance@Jessie party with live bands playing groovin' rhythms, from polka to salsa, swing to bhangra.
