Start your holiday weekend with a little cynicism. Head to the theaters for Woody Allen's return to NYC with Whatever Works, an offbeat comedy about wildly unexpected romantic entanglements. Sure, a blossoming love affair between Larry David and Evan Rachel Wood creeps us out too, but it's classic Allen at his best.
