Stanley Saitowitz' Sexy New Development Opens at Octavia and Market

By

The striking new condo development at 8 Octavia recently held a grand opening celebration attended by figures from the worlds of design, art, architecture and real estate.

Designed by San Francisco starchitect Stanley Saitowitz, the eye-catching building features a facade of slim, vertical louvers which are electronically controlled from within the individual units.

Situated at the corner of Octavia and Market, the building is a wonderful representation of the new architectural character of Hayes Valley, respecting the easy-going nature of the area but with a sexy modernism that provides cutting edge features and amenities (keyless entry, a remote doorman system that is the first of its kind in San Francisco, built-in Nest thermostats, and more.)

The opening party inside the building's 8th floor penthouse was hosted by Joel Goodrich and Roh Habibi of Coldwell Banker Previews International, and honored Bahya Oumlil-Murad for her work benefiting The Shanti Project, one of San Francisco's most treasured charitable organizations.

Joining DDG / DM developers Joe McMillan, Chris Prokop, Mark MacDonald and Danielle Dignan were some 150 guests including Willie Brown, Sonya Molodetskaya, Stanley Saitowitz, Joy Bianchi, Mary Beth Shimmon, Alan Mark, Olya Dzilikhova, Michelle Tholen, and Sara Ledterman, among others.
