SCENE:
This snug Sunset standby is one of the few Chinese restaurants in the city with Korean influences. This isn’t exactly a romantic-date destination, so come with a group—all the better for sharing.
EATS:
The star of the inexpensive and no-nonsense menu is the dry-fried chicken: sticky, addictive, sweet-and-spicy little drumettes (for which you’ll need plenty of napkins). Dry-fried green beans are a close second, as are shrimp-and-leek-filled boiled dumplings, which are served so hot that you’ll find yourself fanning your mouth with the first bite.
