New York Man Takes Dying Dog on Bucket List Adventure Across the Nation, ABC News
Following a terminal diagnosis, Poh, a mixed-breed dog from New York City, has been living his dying days traveling the nation with his owner, crossing off many desirable destinations from their bucket list. "It was a great trip," owner Thomas Neil Rodriguez told ABC News. "I got to spend seven weeks with Poh. At first, I did not think he'd make it two weeks, but he did." Beginning March 6, Rodriquez, his fiance, and Poh drove cross country, visiting 35 cities, and traveling around 12,000 miles.

NASA has begun a mission to discover if Jupiter’s icy moon Europa could potentially harbor an ocean teeming with alien life. Europa is around the same size as Earth’s moon and if it is concealing an icy sea under its crust, the body could have more than twice as much water as Earth. With abundant salt water, a rocky sea floor and the energy and chemistry from tidal heating, Europa could turn out to be the best place in the solar system to look for alien life.
Alleged Zipcar Kleptomaniac was Caught Stealing Another Zipcar a Day After Her Release, SFist
After the equivalent of a parking lot of Zipcars vanished in a six-week stint things were looking a little suspicious. But then alleged serial car thief Ray Charles Dipo, a.k.a. Nicole Dipo, was arrested in April, charged with stealing five of them. Police say that a search of Dipo's house led them to nine Zipcar access cards and eight devices to override their ignitions. And soldering tools. So, police let Dipo go — she was released on her own recognizance over objection from the district attorney. The very next day she was taken into custody when caught in another Zipcar in front of her house.
'A Beautiful Mind' Mathematician John Nash, Wife Killed in Crash, USA Today
John Nash, the Nobel Prize-winning mathematician whose life story inspired the movie A Beautiful Mind, and his wife, Alicia Nash, were killed Saturday afternoon in a car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, New Jersey State Police said. Nash was considered a pioneer in the field of game theory, devising a tool that economists and others could apply to competitive situations from trade negotiations to legislative battles. But it was his life story, chronicled first in a biography by Sylvia Nasar and in Howard's film, that brought him fame. He spent decades battling incapacitating schizophrenia, surviving with help from friends, colleagues and his wife.
