Chef Daniel Tellez is whipping up a few festive additions to the menu for Cinco De Mayo. Available for lunch and dinner May 1st through the 5th, the menu will feature Dungeness crab and yellowfin tuna tacos, cochinita pibil baby back pork ribs, habanero chicken wings, and roasted pork belly in achiote adobo tacos, and a mango crème brûlée for dessert. Clift San Francisco


What is Cinco De Mayo without tacos? Clift Hotel is hosting a taco takedown featuring five local chefs: Juan Martinez of Matador, Ismael Briceno Pacheco of Asiento, Bronson Macomber of Macadamia Events & Catering, Pierre Tumlin from Hog & Rocks, and one unknown chef, battling it out to make the best taco. Purchasing a drink from the Redwood Room gets you five tickets to the takedown and the opportunity to taste test the tacos and vote for the best one. The showdown takes place from 5:30 - 8:30pm.
