7 Things Kendall Wilkinson Can’t Live Without

By

Kendall Wilkinson, formerly of Patina Atelier and Threshold, just opened up Kendall Wilkinson Home last May in SF’s Laurel Heights district. Originally from Mill Valley, Kendall gave us a peek into what makes her tick.

Totes and satchels by Murval. “They’re made of all natural and recycled materials and each tote can be monogrammed for a specific project.  They’re a great way to keep things organized and grouped together.”

Essence candles by Kendall Wilkinson Home. “Being a designer means using all of your senses.  I recently launched my own candle line and I always have one lit when I am doing working at night.”

Lamb’s wool-and-angora lavender throws by Kendall Wilkinson Home. “After a long day of client meetings or hunching over the design table at my office, nothing helps me relax more than cozying up in my lavender throw, it’s very plush and soft.”

Millesime journals designed by Summer Briggs. “I can’t live without them.  She makes each one by hand so each one is unique and I use them for everything. I gave them out for Christmas presents this past year.”

The perfect pen by Montblanc in Paris. “My husband, Gardner, bought it for me seven years ago and it still works! Perhaps I’m superstitious, but every time I brainstorm with this pen, it brings me good ideas.” Montblanc, 120 Grant Ave., 415-403-4000, montblanc.com

Pilates classes at Mercury Fitness. “I just love the atmosphere there. It’s very important for me to have my mind, body and spirit aligned so my creativity can run wild.”

My Blackberry. “Like all relationships, communication is key. I use my Blackberry for everything and I usually switch my phone covers every so often to reflect my mood.”
