Every summer, 7x7's Best of the Bay Area rounds up all the newest and most amazing things that have opened, launched, and happened around the Bay over the past year. This year, we went next level, offering readers a chance to win something awesome.
When thousands of 7x7 fans voted for this year's Readers Choice Awards, Marina resident and Airbnb content producer Alyson Pullman was selected at random to enjoy a special day full of stops at many of of our 2016 Reader's Choice winners, including The Dorian, SFMOMA, and more.
Here's what she did:
8 a.m. Audi on Demand arrives, car in tow
As part of their Best Day Ever, Audi on Demand offered Allyson and her guest a gorgeous Audi TT to zoom around San Francisco in. Their first stop: a joy ride across the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin, where they snapped selfies under the gorgeous redwoods.
12 p.m. Visit to SFMOMA
Allyson wondered at all the amazing exhibits at the newly renovated SFMOMA.
3 p.m. Blowout at Cinta Salon
In order to prepare for the night ahead, Cinta Salon gave Allyson a magical blowout—perfect for a night on the town.
5:30 p.m. Dinner at the Dorian
As the winner of the Reader's Choice Best New Restaurant, the Dorian turned out the red carpet for Allyson. Dinner consisted of martinis, shrimp appetizers, and a dessert (or two!).
8 p.m. MTT conducts Brahms' Symphony No. 2 at the SF Symphony
For this very special concert at the San Francisco Symphony, our winner was granted box seating (for prime viewing, of course!).
