Brian and Alison met by chance on a dance floor in Dewey Beach, DE. They were both strategy consultants from IBM and as luck would have it, they were both sent to Seattle for work which allowed for a side ski trip in Lake Tahoe. During that trip, they realized they may have liked each other more than just friends.
After Brian proposed, they both figured it was only fitting that they should be married in Lake Tahoe.
Here's a detailed description of some favorite moments by Alison, the bride, herself:
"After the ceremony we walked out of the church and Brian has a horse drawn sleigh waiting. I was completely surprised. It was so fun.
We also had a photobooth at the reception which was really fun. There were tons of props and everyone really got in to it including the Chef, waiters and kitchen staff. It was awesome! Our friends, Jake and Ethan, have a production company, so they setup the photobooth and will be editing all the still shots in to a continuous video… we are pretty excited about that. They do some really cool work.
Most memorable moment was maybe walking out of the church to Weezer's 'Only in Dreams' which was played on the sax with a pianist - they did a great rendition. Or maybe our first dance. The song ended up being longer than we remembered but it was nice to just have those 4 – 5 mins just to be together – laughing, dancing."
