How would you describe your style?
Polished with an edge. I usually go for simple and classic pieces for my wardrobe, but I love adding something unexpected, usually through my accessories, to reflect my personal style and taste.
How would you describe San Francisco style?
Definitely more subtle. In LA or NYC, there is no such thing as "overdressed," but in SF you can certainly feel that way sometimes. It's not exactly a bad thing, I love that I wore sneakers and ripped jeans to Benu recently and it felt totally okay!
If you had to live anywhere else, where would it be?
Hong Kong. It's where I'm from and I would love to raise my kids there for a few years to learn the language and culture.
Top 5 SF spots:
The Mill for coffee and people watching, Delfina Pizzeria (on California) for pizza night, especially with the kids, B. Patisserie for the best Kouign-Amann, Spruce for a classic burger and dirty martini, and Hayes Street for some serious shopping!
What 3 things are you most obsessed with right now?
A pair of vintage candleholders I got recently at Seedstore, anything marble prints, and my kids' art.
What's up next for you?
Professionally, I'll be continuing my blog, as well as launching two new businesses this year and next. One is called Lovemade, coming this fall! My business partner, Janette Crawford, and I will be hosting a series of lifestyle workshops for moms-to-be and modern families. We're really excited about building a community for parents who share a passion for quality life with their little ones. For my second business, I'm partnering with my cousin, Gloria Wong Tritasavit, a talented wedding/events designer, on a line of party goods. Both are really exciting and I couldn't be more grateful to be surrounded by such talents! Personally, I'll be going to Tokyo and Hong Kong this fall. It's been a goal of mine to travel as a family since Hadley (my second) was born, so we're super stoked to be taking the kids overseas come October.
