In a festive round of mixing, scouting and shopping (such a job hazard in this line of business), I stopped by San Francisco's Zinc Details last week for the second annual SF Local Design Market.
The shop hosted twelve exhibitors—some of whom we already knew and loved, and some who were new to us.
I immediately wanted a whisper-pink card wallet from Materials + Process. Designer Christine Marcelino sources her leather in Napa Valley and stitches clean, quiet carrying cases for today's technology:
I was also excited to see the new Integral desk from Studio Chad Wright, a piece he debuted in Milan a few months ago but was on display last night for the first time in the US:
