Why: The team behind Il Casaro is turning its focus on pizza's dearest cousin: pinsas. Their new joint, Barbara Pinseria & Cocktail Bar, will offer a menu of eight airy Roman-style flatbreads including the Uove Tartufate (egg, truffle spread, smoked pancetta, and red onions) and the San Francisco (spicy salami, Italian Sausage, scamorza, mozzarella, and red onions). Why: We've said so long to Magnolia Brewery's counter-service BBQ concept formerly known as Smokestack.
