Anchor Unveils 42nd Annual Christmas Ale

It may be too early for Christmas music and holiday decorations, but the timing is perfect for Anchor Christmas Ale. Released every year in early November, this year's winter warmer is the 42nd iteration for Anchor Brewing Company. The talented Nicky Beyries, bar manager for Laszlo and Foreign Cinema, just won a California cocktail competition in Los Angeles. Her award-winning cocktail, The Serpent's Kiss, is currently available at Laszlo for $14. The tropical concoction features rum and arrack mixed with passionfruit, orange, lime and mint. Breyers beat out ten other bartenders from the Bay Area and Southern California in the Diplomatico (Rum) World Tournament.
