The Bay Area’s next generation of young professionals and philanthropists joined the GLIDE family on August 22nd to celebrate GLIDE's legacy of love, leadership and community at the 6th Annual GLIDE Legacy Gala.

The formal affair at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco was filled with music, dance and a special program honoring change agents dedicated to improving the lives of those less fortunate including Chinaka Hodge, award-winningpoet, educator, playwright and screenwriter who was honored with the GLIDE Legacy Award; Kristi Yamaguchi, Olympic and World Figure Skating Champion, honored with the Janice Mirikitani Legacy Award and Chip Conley, hospitality guru, traveling philosopher, speaker and author who was honored with the Cecil Williams Legacy Award. The evening’s emcee, Franco Finn, hype man for NBA World Champion Golden State Warriors, kept the sold-out crowd on their feet and entertained while the GLIDE Ensemble and Change Band rocked the night and DJ KingMost kept things going with a steady stream of hip beats. Guests enjoyed tasty bites from some of San Francisco's finest restaurants, a hosted bar, live auction and a surprise visit from “Classic Man” hit maker Jidenna.
