7 Tastemakers Who Are Setting the Tone for Bay Area Style Now
15 September 2016
Our annual Style Council is always an eclectic bunch—with former honorees running the gamut from models (Maggie Rizer) to magicians (Ken Fulk) to It girls (Maria Kochetkova) to local legends (Wilkes Bashford, RIP)—but all the fine people featured here share something in common. Each is recognizable by a deeply unique sense of style, by a way of doing things just so that informs not just their own personal lives and work but, in one way or another, impacts the rest of us. Be it in the clothes that fill our closets, the furniture that makes our houses homes, the inspiration we find at the office, or the way in which we daily interact with SF's most talented brands and makers, these seven tastemakers are shaping the look and feel of our lives here in the Bay Area.
So, without further ado, it is our great pleasure to announce 7x7's 2016 Style Council!

But did you know that Martin kind of has a thing for ladies' shoes? It's true. Read more...

Say hello to the Mayor of Fillmore Street. No, of course that isn't his real title (but wouldn't that be cool?), but for Vasilios Kiniris, it may as well be. Vas, as he is more commonly called, deeply hearts the Fillmore. Read more...
"We're all about pushing what's possible," says Verda Alexander, the woman who, as principal and cofounder of SoMa-based Studio O+A, is behind the over-the-top magical interiors at some of the Bay Area's buzziest companies. Read more...
