Readers, clients, visitors, locals and staffers converged at Lookout in the heart of the Castro on one of the year's warmest days to celebrate the momentous SCOTUS rulings during San Francisco's biggest week.
Guests took to the venue's famed wraparound balcony overlooking Market Street to share their joy with passersby below, while enjoying icy cold beers from Beck's Sapphire and longtime SF Pride sponsors Bud Light, and specialty cocktails made with San Francisco's own No. 209 Gin (see recipes below.)
Lookout also provided a generous spread from their catering menu, while special guest DJ Carnita of the new-classic monthly party Hard French provided a hot soundscape of old-school R&B and soul gems. We also had folks from The House of Babes selling last-minute tickets to their super-popular Dyke March afterparty benefitting nonprofit LYRIC—anyone who managed to score a ticket was also entered into a raffle for prizes provided by Chronicle Books, the Frameline37 Film Fest, and SF Pride itself.
