Overproof, the quarterly rotating bar concept inside ABV, has announced its newest iteration: At Double Back, you'll sip the whiskies of the world both neat and in cocktail form. Try an espresso-infused, barrel-aged bourbon or perhaps a High Plains Highball (Japanese whiskey, carbonated genmaicha tea, and génépy). Wine and Dine
Keiko a Nob Hill, the Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant with a French twist, will open a walk-in-only bar this week geared toward stylish impromptu imbibing. In addition to pouring from the restaurant's enviable selection of rare French wines, including vintage Burgundies from the owner's private collection, the bar will offer a limited menu of just the essentials: seared foie gras, caviar, charcuterie, and cheese. You can, however, expect to see a limited tasting menu coming in the next few weeks. // 1250 Jones St (Nob Hill), keikoanobhill.com
