Erin Brown and Matt Valerio got married at Fort Mason in San Francisco. The invites, designed by a good friend, included the Golden Gate Bridge and Empire State Building to signify where the couple met (San Francisco) and where they currently live (Manhattan). Before the ceremony, they left matching sunglasses on the seat of all attendees so everyone could take a group photo after the ceremony. The sunglasses had a tag with #ebroandbomo and all Instagram posts with the hashtag went to their wedding blog. Instead of bouquets, the bridesmaids carried different vintage clutch purses to hold their essentials, along with different dresses and shoes of their choice.
Matt is a musician, and created the ideas for escort cards (vintage cassette tapes from eBay) and the table numbers (7" records held up by a little stand). Laurel from Esla Events ensured that the newlyweds had some special time together throughout the wedding which helped them stay focused on each other on the big day. The last song of the night was "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi, a friend and family tradition for all special occasions.
