How Jaime and Sherrouse got from Louisiana, to Denver, to Cabo San Lucas, and finally down the aisle is quite the story.
The bride and groom met in Denver through mutual friends, but didn’t see each other for six months after the initial interaction. One day Jaime received a text from her future husband asking, “What is a girl in the big city up to?” She responded, “Looking for trouble.” Sherrouse wrote back, “I have trouble if you have a passport.” He then asked Jaime to accompany him to a friend’s wedding in Cabo San Lucas – just as friends. As luck would have it, they ended up getting hitched.
The wedding took place in the heart of wine country and had a beautiful lavender motif. The decorations included sweet and intimate details: The bottom of the bride’s shoes had a blue sparkly “I Do” written on them and the table bouquets all included Granny Smith apples. Guests enjoyed sweeping views of Napa Valley.
At the reception, even the groom changed into a pair of flip-flops as the newlyweds and their Southern friends danced away to a live band.
