We were so blown away by the final collection at the Academy of Art Graduate Fashion Show that we just had to share. The Fashion and Jewelry Design Collaboration produced by three Fine Art Sculpture and six Fashion Design students, was a fantastical mix that we think is best described as alien fairy with a dash of Toy Story mutant toy. From the metal flowers sprouting out of the tulle 'fur' coat to the sculptural wires suspending layers of a goddess gown in mid-air, the collection was without-a-doubt inspiring and the Academy continues to make fashion aficionados such as ourselves proud to call San Francisco home.
