Alexa Chung Celebrates Her Second Madewell Collection With a Visit to San Francisco
21 September 2011
It seems like a long time since Alexa Chung debuted her first collection with Madewell last year. Too long. A sequel has been in the works and this time Alexa is making a cameo at San Francisco's nearly-mint Madewell store this Thursday to celebrate.
The collection drops the same day and I bet her signature palm print items and those leopard print booties are going to be the first to go. Alexa actually designed the palm print herself — it was a doodle in one of her Madewell design meetings.
Here are a few selections from the look book, styled by Alexa. Sweet and simple, updated basics like cardigans, a sweet ivory lace dress, a flippy leather skirt, shrunken outerwear, tailored jeans, and throw-on tops are lined up. Alexa-esque details like Peter Pan collars and high hemlines are adorable accents.
