This remarkable organization, which connects skilled immigrants with employers and provides both with the resources to succeed, garnered over 13,000 votes to make take it straight to the top. Last night, they were awarded a giant $10,000 check from our pals at PG&E. But the six runners up were definitely not left in the dust: WOMAN, Inc., Rocket Dog Rescue, Larkin Street Youth Service, Meals on Wheels SF, SF Smiles, and Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco were each given a $2,000 grant from, again, the generous folks at PG&E.
To everyone who voted and each and every charity who participated in our 2012 contest, thank you for all your hard work, from the bottom of our hearts.
