No more bleacher seats for you, fancypants. This time you can get good and lit watching Michael Morse hit another homer, all from the comfort of the swanky new Gotham Clubhouse. In the Bay Area's continuing trend of stadium chic, AT&T Park just revealed the latest installment to their roster of high-end experiences. Christened the Gotham Clubhouse, in honor of the Giants' original team name, it opens to the public tomorrow, Friday, July 25, kicking off the SF-LA series.
The Clubhouse comes replete with a bar (featuring baseball-shaped "ice cubes"), exclusive food and beverage offerings, and the chance to watch batting practice on the field prior to the start of the game.
Membership, currently open only to season ticket holders, starts with a one-time $2,500 fee, with annual dues around $1,250. So, it'll cost you, yes; but privilege also gains you access to Gotham Club's Game Room (located on the Club Level, featuring a pool hall, arcade games, and a bowling alley) and The Bullpen (mere steps away from the players practicing).
But what about Beyonce and her husband's concert, you ask? No sweat. Membership, plus a sought-after ticket to the sold-out August show, means you can watch Bey drunk in love from both the Clubhouse and the Bullpen. Lucky you.
