The end of the year is fast approaching, which could only mean one thing: time to be inundated with myriad 'Best of the Year' lists. Rather than letting someone else have the all the fun of deciding what's hot and what's so 2008, California Home+Design magazine is putting the power in the hands of California design nuts (ahem!) to help them come up with the 10 best 2009 creations that came out of the state. Choose from over 40 nominees, including a flying saucer bowl set from local design team Museum of Robots and the interior decor of downtown gypsy-themed restaurant Gitane. You'll also see several designs made from reclaimed or sustainably-harvested materials, and a few freshly designed structures from around the Bay Area. Have your say on what you think should make the cut for CHD's year-end 'Hit List' here from now until September 30th and as a bonus you'll be registered to win a pair of tickets to the first anniversary gala party of the California Academy of Sciences.
