Blue Bottle is in the middle of a major expansion—cafes are planned everywhere from Miami to D.C.—and their newest cafe opens in Downtown Berkeley on Saturday, October 15! The first brick-and-mortar in Berkeley (and third in the East Bay) is located on the corner of University and Shattuck (2118 Shattuck Ave) and offers both indoor and outdoor seating for Cal students and work-from-homers alike. It's also the first cafe to feature a full Modbar, where most of the machinery is tucked beneath the counter, so make sure to say hi to your barista.—Sarah Medina // 2118 Shattuck Ave. (Berkeley), bluebottlecoffee.com
