Jazz collides with R&B and hip-hop at the first-ever Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Valley, July 29-31.
Curated by jazz pianist Robert Glasper and hosted by comedian Dave Chappelle, the festival will feature unique collaborations with artists including Snoop Dogg, Chaka Khan, Maxwell, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Erykah Badu. Held at the historic Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena, the especially intimate festival will have limited capacity.
Grammy Award–winning multi-genre pianist, songwriter, and producer Robert Glasper serves as the festival’s artist-in-residence.

The full lineup will feature performances by: Maxwell; Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli reuniting as Black Star; Snoop Dogg; Chaka Khan; Thundercat; Flying Lotus; Kamasi Washington; The Soul Rebels featuring GZA & Talib Kweli; Corinne Bailey Rae; Emily King; Keyon Harrold; Domi & JD Beck; Phony PPL; Chief Adjuah (formerly Christian Scott); Derrick Hodge; Th1rt3en; Butcher Brown; Isaiah Sharkey; Frédéric Yonnet; Madlib, Chris Dave & The Drumhedz; Kenny Garrett; Alex Isley; Kiefer and Amber (of Moonchild); Marcus Strickland Twi-Life; and DJ Jahi Sundance. Honoring the festival’s spirit of collaboration, artists will sit in on each other’s sets.
Charles Krug Winery will be a bucolic, intimate setting for this limited-attendance festival.The outdoor weekend event represents a new audience experience for Blue Note fans by combining a more traditional festival-style event with the local wine culture of Napa Valley. The weekend will include food by renowned area restaurants and curated wine tasting experiences with the artists and some of the nation’s top sommeliers.
Exclusive to VIP ticket-holders, the festival, in partnership with Luminary, will present the first-ever live audience recording of the award-winning podcast "The Midnight Miracle," on Friday, July 29th. Hosted by Dave Chappelle, Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) and Talib Kweli, “The Midnight Miracle Live from Napa'' will feature special guests from the festival.
