Over the weekend, Japantown hosted the busiest J-Pop Summit to date—but when you mix a Ramen festival with a Pocky eating contest, what do you expect?
Now in its 6th year, the J-Pop Summit celebrates popular Japanese fashion, music, and culture on the streets of San Francisco's Japantown. Thousands of enthusiasts flooded the streets to see the latest in Japanese music, film, art, fashion, games, anime, and food, including live performances in Union Square and never-before-seen foreign films.
In addition to the delicious food and long lines, the two-day festival also brought several high profile Japanese designers, performers, and models to San Francisco to show off their Japanese-inspired wares. Click through the slideshow for some of the boldest looks from this year's fest.
