You've probably seen some of Art Gensler's work around the city without even knowing it, epsecially if you've flown out of SFO's gorgeous new Terminal 2 lately. He is the founder of Gensler, the largest architecture and design firm in the world, located right here in SF, and renowned for his impact on the field and his commitment to education. Now's your chance to meet the man behind the design at the Blueprints, Blue Jeans & Bluegrass Gala.
The Blueprints, Blue Jeans and & Bluegrass Gala reception and dinner is meant to celebrate the life and work of one of San Francisco's brightest and most fearless designers. The special event will take place in the central Nave on CCA’s San Francisco campus, and the award-winning building will be transformed by the designer Stanlee Gatti to match the gala's theme. Guests will enjoy signature cocktails, a delicious dinner, and live bluegrass music. Valet parking will be provided. All net proceeds from the Gala will go to scholarships for talented and deserving students at CCA. Don't miss this special chance to mingle with one of the city's finest artists.
The Gala is chaired by Brenda and George Jewett. George Jewett is a CCA trustee and also an alumnus, having graduated from the Architecture Program in 1996.
