Last weekend, Live in the Vineyard (LitV) kicked off at 35,000 feet with a surprise concert by Green River Ordinance on a Southwest flight from Burbank to Oakland. Never mind the other music industry big-shots like Michelle Branch, Daughtry, O.A.R., SafetySuit, Martin Harley Band, Christina Perri, and Javier Colon seated on the plane or hanging out and playing in Napa over the weekend.

Every April and November, LitV brings the hottest names in music to Napa Valley for intimate shows in vineyards, wine caves, wineries, the Uptown Theatre, and other unusual venues. LitV founders and life-long friends Claire Parr and Bobbii Hatch-Jacobs dreamed of creating a personal connection between people, music, the artists behind the music, and wine. 

So how can you catch this cool event next time it comes around? There were once only three ways to get invited to LitV: Have significant clout in the music or wine industry, win the national radio contest, or become a local sponsor like Cypress Grove Chevre or a national sponsor like Aloft or Southwest.

However, next April, you’ll have a chance to gorge yourself on Napa’s finest foods and wines while standing shoulder-to-shoulder at concerts with famous musicians, winemakers, chefs and industry insiders.
