All hail the glorious sun! This past weekend's phenomenal weather made me want to worship that giant star much like the Aztecs, thanks to its spirit-lifting (and pasty leg-annhilating) powers. Even on typical city days where you'll only find a bit of sol peeking through a thick sheet of fog, I'll take what I can get. But that's easier said than done here where railroad-style apartments are in abundance and many units offer just one lone window at the end of a long corridor, providing more of a reminder of sun, rather than actually delivering any. I'm thankful then that there are places like this week's Craigslist deal to be had.
