Disney's acquisition of Marvel (cha-ching! movies!) yesterday rocked the animation world. Laughing Squid posted a great reaction by artist Adam Koford, called Gooflactus. Ha!

All this Disney news got us thinking about the new Walt Disney Family Museum, which is slated to open up in the Presidio October 1.  We got a tour of the museum the other day and were pretty impressed by the early Mickey Mouse sketches, original storyboards and freakishly intricate model of the "Disneyland of Walt Disney's imagination." It's an e-Bay-ers dream, really.  The museum also houses a feature film theater, which is a pretty sick place for a kid to watch Fantasia.   Oh, and get this - they have ticketing kiosks (just like at the movies!) so no more waiting in crazy lines come opening day.
