Two events to please your inner vintage fiend hit San Francisco this week. Both offer chances to revel in vintage apparel and accessories that you won’t find in land-based stores.
First up, All Vintage Everything Part Deux makes Tuesday a little snazzier than usual with a one night pop-up shop devoted to men’s and women’s fashion from online vintage retailers such as Goodbye Heart and Lost Feather Vintage. JT Paradox and Dyanna Pure of local streetstyle blog TheSFStyle host the event, so we’d imagine you find yourself featured on the site’s stylish pages if you turn up in a killer ensemble. Along with vintage shopping, the evening entices with gift bags for the first 20 guests, nibbles from Reaction Restaurant and free blowouts available 6-8 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis courtesy of Blow salon. All Vintage Everything Part Deux, Tues. 6-9:30 p.m., SUB-Mission Gallery, 2183 Mission St., SF.
For a selection of vintage day dresses and sunglasses just in time for July 4th weekend, hit up the Daisy’s Vintage Summer Sale on Thursday night. Hosted by San Francisco shopping tour company Fashion Slave, the event takes place in a private residence in the Mission, where you’ll find the local vintage dealer’s selection of dresses (primarily from the 70’s and 80’s) priced at $15 a pop and $40 retro sunglasses frames updated with new lenses, as well as a small assortment of vintage shoes and handbags. Daisy’s Vintage Sale, Thu. 6:30-10 p.m., 448 14th St., SF.
