1. Wine Kitchen Opens: The Divisadero corridor has a new place to sip a glass of vino; Wine Kitchen, which opened last week, has an enormous selection of wines from around the globe, including four local draft wines ($9-12), two draft beers ($5-6), and more than 40 bottles (ranging from $30 for an Italian Prosecco to $110 for Billecart-Salmon champagne). The "kitchen" part of the equation is also very much in play; the owners have worked at Commonwealth, Bar Tartine, and Spruce, and their menu includes gourmet offerings like crispy sweetbreads, tuna crudo, and mushroom tempura. 2. The Bold Italic's 3rd Base Microhood: The team at The Bold Italic is revisiting the Dogpatch for their latest microhood event. The number of cool local businesses in the neighborhood continues to grow impressively, and a ton of new spots have popped up since the last bash. Among the newcomers are Olivier's Butchery, which will be offering $8 boeuf bourgignon and free beer; La Fromagerie, which will hold a cheese tasting; Almanac Beer, which is offering a tasting; and Magnolia Brewing, which will offer tours of their soon-to-open new facility and $3 pints at nearby Serpentine. They join long-running winery Sutton Cellars, which will offer tastings, and Rickshaw Bags, which will offer tours and free beers. RSVP at their Facebook event page so they can get a head count. 3. Uptown Almanac's Locally Sourced Pop-Up Comedy Night: Mission blog Uptown Almanac is celebrating its third anniversary with a blowout comedy show at the Roxie, and some of SF's best stand-ups, including Alex Koll, Kevin Camia, Jules Posner, and Anna Seregina, will take the stage. In true Mission style, the $7 admission includes all-you-can-drink PBR, and half the proceeds will go towards keeping the Roxie running. Get tickets here. 4. Rosamunde Mission's 3rd Anniversary: Also on the Mission beat, the Mission location of the popular Rosamunde Sausage Grill (which has since expanded its empire to both Oakland and Brooklyn) is celebrating three years in business with $1 pints of Racer 5, live music from Nikki Borodi, and of course, plenty of sausage (and vegan sausage, and potato salad). 5. NFC Title Game: If you're a 49ers fan, you're already well aware that this Sunday marks the climactic NFC title game that determines whether our hometown team makes it to the Super Bowl. Two spots are offering drink specials while you watch the Niners battle the Falcons for gridiron supremacy: the SOMA StrEat Food Park (which has a heated dining area and multiple TVs) will have $12 bottomless mimosas in addition to their bevy of food trucks, while The Independent will have the game on the big screen, $4 Bud Light drafts, and $5 shots of Goldschlager.
