Oddjob Debuts a Dozen New Cocktails
If any of the dozen new cocktails on Oddjob's new bar menu taste as intriguing as their names, we may never leave. Made from nasturtium-infused tequila, white peony tea maraschino liqueur, and grapefruit, the Lolita promises a strong, sweet, and tart encounter. Swamp Milk mixes Nolet's Gin and egg white with grape soda reduction for a strange-bedfellows-style gin fizz. And we don't actually care what A Scotsman on the FDR on His Way to Kentucky is made of; we just want to meet him. / / 1337 Mission
DOSA Releases Private Label Wines
What wine pairs best with South Indian food? DOSA's new private label collection, Sujata, created by winemaker Doug Margerum. On their own, the white, rosé, and red varieties are perfectly drinkable, but paired with DOSA's Chennai Chicken and Mung Sprout Salad, the rosé is divine, providing the perfect counter-balance for the prominently spiced dishes of South India. DOSA has two San Francisco locations, in the Mission (995 Valencia) and in the Fillmore district (1700 Fillmore).
