Brewmaster Meet & Greet + "Draft Day"
Though SF Beer Week is still over two months away, preparations are already underway, starting this Wednesday with “Draft Day.” Over 25 SF-based breweries will be divided into two teams headed by Dave McLean of Magnolia Brewing Company and Mike Schnebeck of Fort Point Beer Company. The teams will compete to create a collaboration beer with local produce and specialty ingredients. The Cooking Project Happy Hour
The Cooking Project, a nonprofit started by Daniel Patterson and Sasha Bernstein that aims to teach kids and young adults how to cook and eat better, is hosting a happy hour this Friday. Richie Nakano (Defina and formerly Hapa Ramen) along with other SF-based chefs will pair up with the youth to create delicious culturally-representative dishes. Arab Street Food at the Farmers Market
Reem Assil, La Cocina program partcipant and maker of delicious Arab street foods, will be at the CUESA Saturday Farmers Market at the Ferry Building starting this this Saturday, November 21st until December 21st. Dandelion's 12 Nights of Chocolate
Each holiday season, Dandelion Chocolate teams up with the best chefs in the city to create a sweet and savory menu for 12 nights in December. This year, they’ve got a pretty stellar lineup onboard, including Dominque Crenn, Traci Des Jardins, Nicole Krasinksi, Leah Rosenberg, and more. And the best part: all proceeds go to benefit the SF-Marin Food Bank. Giving back never tasted so sweet. Gus's Community Market Opening in The Mission
The same family behind Haight Street Market and Noriega Produce are opening up a new grocery in the Mission, which will hold a butchershop, a grab-n-go area and deli, as well as an adjoining cafe.
