California's Central Coast region is slowly being recognized for its burgeoning wine industry, and many area vineyards are branching out into sparkling wines. Hence, the launch of the nation's first sparkling wine festival this month in Pismo Beach. Eat, Drink and be Gnome-y at Chouffe Fest San Francisco
Chouffe, creator of fine Belgian ales, will bring its popular Chouffe Fest to San Francisco’s Log Cabin this Thursday, October 23 in celebration of Belgian craft beers—which, according to rumor, were hand-crafted by magical gnomes and passed in secret to Chouffe’s founders in the 1970s. Inspired by this mystical tale, Chouffe Fest invites you to step into the imaginary world of the Chouffe gnomes, which includes an eight-foot-tall "gnome throne" photo booth as well as giant, playable versions of checkers, Jenga, and Connect Four.
