Have you ever wanted to eat and drink at all the city's top restaurants bars and in the one night? Well, the Taste of Potrero could be that night. San Francisco’s top eateries including, Ame, Local Mission Eatery, Nojo, and Skool will be serving up their finest dishes accompanied by cocktails from the Homestead and Comstock and wines from Urbanite Cellars. There is a battle for supremacy going down on Steuart street as a plethora of new Asian restaurants open their doors. Region is the latest to open, offering “Rustic Asian” cuisine, a raft of fine cocktails, and a sleek and sexy interior. As the beautiful spring weather begins to consolidate over the Bay Area there are a plethora of outdoor dining options opening up. This Friday sees the return of Bites off Broadway in Oakland. It promises to be a congregation of some of Oakland’s best food carts including Tine Tamale, Doc’s of the Bay, Conklin’s Catering and Go Streatery. In addition to snagging some street eats, pod visitors will also have a chance to play lawn games and indulge in some sneaky hula hooping. Jump on board this Friday from 5:30 until it’s dark. Saturday, May 12

Fresh food is the flavour of the morning at CUESA’s 12th annual Spring Breakfast. Market sellers will tell you about their produce and you can choose from an abundance of food from the huge breakfast menu. Pasture raised scrambled eggs, fresh berries and granola,  pork maple sausages and freshly squeezed juice are just some of the menu options. Seatings are at 9:00 and 11:00 am. Monday, May 14

Pop-ups are the latest food craze sweeping the US and many of the top chefs are getting in on the action. SF Chef, Ravi Kapur's, pop-up at Citizen's Band, LihoLiho Yacht Club, returns this Monday with another three week series. The menu is a delicious fusion of Asian, Hawaiian and Californian cuisine, all created with local seasonal produce. With only a few walk-ins accepted each night you will want to reserve your seat in advance. Dinner is served from 5:30 until 10:30 and costs $65 per person including tax and gratuity, but doesn’t include beer or wine. 1198 Folsom Street

The combination of good food and literature can only ever be a good one. The Feast of Words Literary Potluck is a monthly dinner party where food lovers and writers come together to eat, write, and share. After her popular April nationwide tour, Oakland based writer Cassie J. Sneider reads from her new book Fine, Fine Music. The event begins at 7:00 and doors open at 6:30.
