Halal Guys Opens First Bay Area Brick-and-Mortar
The NYC-based food cart and purveyor of delicious chicken and rice doused in spicy red hot sauce and creamy white sauce is opening up its first brick-and-mortar in San Jose. The menu will include gyro sandwiches in addition to their signature platters. Outside Lands Announces Food Lineup for 2016
Outside Lands announced their food lineup this week and it's as epic as this year's music lineup. Returning favorites include 4505 with their "best damn grass-fed cheeseburgers," Del Popolo with margherita pizzas, and Azalinas with her amazing Malaysian nachos. Eric Ripert at Bar Agricole
Join Michelin-starred food celebrity Eric Ripert at Bar Agricole for a book party on Monday. Cherry Bombe Magazine at Omnivore Books
Head to Omnivore books tonight to celebrate Cherry Bombe Magazine's California issue, which features notable women in the restaurant industry such as Liz Pruiett from Tartine, Michelle Polzine from 20th Century Cafe, Smitten Ice Cream founder Robyn Sue Fisher, Gabriela Camara of Cala, and more. Editors will be on-hand to meet, greet, and sign copies. Sunday Sugo at Spaghetti Bros.
Spaghetti Bros. is launching a special all-day Sunday Sugo Menu. The weekly rotating menu will be a three-course (for a total of eight dishes), family-style meal featuring such plates as carrot goulash, crispy fried chicken, and slow roasted strawberry scones.
