Women in Food Entrepreneurs Panel
An intimate panel of amazing women – Jess Nguyen of Bicycle Banh Mi, Sadie Scheffer of Bread SRSLY, and Melissa Cohen of Salty Sweet – discuss their paths into food and give tips for starting a venture of your own. 520 Chef’s Table
Executive Chef Clive Berkman is hosting his second installment of 520 Chef’s Table at Garden Court Hotel in Palo Alto this week. Chef’s Table is Silicon Valley's twist on the modern day dinner party where social media is encouraged (of course) and they even have their own hashtag. The evening includes an intimate communal dining environment of only 30 patrons, and an exquisite tasting menu of locally sourced farm to table cuisine, paired with fine wines. Plated with Tacolicious Chef Telmo Faria
It's impossible to stay away when any event involves Tacolicious. Plated provides an intimate chef interview and cooking demonstration with Chef Telmo Faria, featuring Farmer’s Market fresh items, and complete with recipes for everyone to enjoy at home(!). The free and fun Saturday morning series is hosted by Liam Mayclem, San Francisco’s Foodie Chap. Tastes will be provided for the first 100 guests, so make sure to get there early. Easter Picnic at Off the Grid
Sit back and relax this Easter Sunday as a dedicated wait staff serves up the eats of your choice right to your reserved blanket. The Off the Grid Easter Brunch Package allows you to pick a spot, and your wait staff will lay out a picnic blanket (that you get to keep!) for you and your party. After seating, choose between a Mimosa or Bloody Mary cocktail kit as you peruse the Easter menu options. They’ll take care of the order as you bask under the sun (for up to 2 hours). Urban Sip at Rock Wall Wine Company
Urban Sip is a celebration of urban winemaking and the innovative restaurant culture of the Bay Area. The events features nine new releases from Rock Wall winery in addition to the entire Rock Wall portfolio (over 30 wines) paired with bites from some of the Bay Area’s best eateries, like Pican, Ozumo, Tyler Stone, Asena, Bombzies BBQ, Scolaris, Venga Paella, Blue Heron Catering, Royal Raspberry Catering, Lola’s Chicken Shack, and High Street Station. Guests can sign up for a cellar tour and barrel tasting with the winemaker, take in amazing bay-side views, and savor specialty chocolates from award winning chocolatier Coco Tutti. Kitchen in the Vineyards
Not you typical home and garden tour, Kitchen in the Vineyards takes you through five homes in Napa with an exceptional focus on entertaining and culinary arts. There’s also ten Bay Area chefs, stylists, florists, and authors stationed at each of the homes. One of the homes is a vacation home for SF-based designer Jay Jeffers. The home honors the indoor/outdoor lifestyle of Wine Country with a reclaimed wood wall, blackened oyster shell fireplace, and male portraiture collection.
