As spring is blossoming, it is about time for some wine. Luckily, Il Cane Rosso will be hosting a fabulous wine event with Medlock Ames Winery. They will be preparing a tantalizing four-course meal using spring ingredients, and local, organic produce. Expect a Sonoma Spring Lamb to be washed down with a little Red Bordeaux. The dinner costs $46 and the wine pairings $26. Two seatings begin at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at One Ferry Building #41 (415) 391-7599.

Chef Ayinde is popping into San Francisco. That’s right, his food pop-up Wildflower will be making a special stop in the Mission district for Cinco de Mayo. The chef will feature a fresh-faced, innovative menu with such varying flavors as Mint Tzatziki and Beer-Battered Tempeh Tacos. New takes on classic dishes like Mexican Hot Chocolate Waffles will make this Cinco de Mayo go down in Foodie History. The pop-up will first appear at The Window, located at Coffee Bar’s commissary and will stay through Saturday, May 5th. On Sunday, a four-course dinner will be served at a super secret location TBA by ieatgrass.

The Oakland Invaders were once a USFL football team. Today, the name refers to the Vikings of the food world. Join the invaders for a day filled with beer and good eats at Dear Mom. Linden Street Brewery will be offering select brews like their “Black and Blue” lager infused with Blue Bottle Coffee. It's an all day affair offering morning bagels, lunch, and dinner. 2700 16th St.
Support the Oakland Art Murmur Gallery Association by attending the inaugural benefit party, Flourish, at MUA restaurant. Be a part of the growing Oakland art scene by dining, sipping on a cocktail, and listening to live jazz. A silent auction will feature the work of such artists as Hung Liu and Squeak Carnwath. All SF’s top restaurants and bars in one room? Too good to be true? Well, get ready to do some serious tasting at Taste of Potrero. Some of the top eateries that will be sharing their newest and boldest dishes include Ame, Local Mission Eatery, Nojo, and Skool. The best part about this event is that all proceeds go to support Daniel Webster Elementary School.
