It's 2010, the year of your wedding, and you have more loose ends untied than not. You're not alone (this engaged writer included). But luckily for all Bay Area newlyweds-to-be, the San Francisco Four Seasons' annual event, "2010 Wedding Fair...A Five Star Afternoon," is just around the bend.
In its seventh year, the wedding fair promises to help brides (and grooms) tackle the peskiest of questions: What kind of pearls should my bridal party wear? What's the perfect midnight snack to serve before sending off giddy (and likely inebriated) guests into the night? What's the hottest wedding cake trend of 2010 going to be? You know, life-altering quandaries.
More than 75 wedding services--from stylists to bakers, musicians to florists--will be available to meet with couples and offer consultations. And, of course, there will be champagne to sip, cake to taste, and hors d'oeuvres upon which to nosh while you enjoy the sweet sounds of a string quartet.
As always, there will be a "Bachelor's Pad," too, where the grooms can chill out, check the game score, and have a beer and some bar munchies while their brides go to town with the wedding vendors on tap.
Valet Parking will be available at the hotel at a discounted rate of $20 for Wedding Fair guests. Tickets for the fair are $22 if purchased in advance or $25 at the door. To purchase tickets, visit www.sfweddingfair.com and click on "Registration," or call 415-986-1141.
