It's the first US restaurant from the Good Times Restaurant Group, which is based in India, and joins the ranks of recently opened Babu Ji on Valencia and and August 1 Five on Van Ness. The menu balances California ingredients with the rich regional flavors of India and features dishes such as potato tikki with kale tempura, charred sweet potato with Malai broccoli, salsa verde and lentil fritters, and a tandoori snapper. // Open Monday-Saturday, 333 Brannan St (SoMa), roohsf.com

You can expect tacos (of course) with your choice of carne asada, al pastor, pescado, and tofu, as well as larger plates such as ceviche tostadas and a fried chicken torta that we're particularly excited about. // Open Monday-Friday, 11am-3pm, 632 20th St (Dogpatch), glenassf.com
