Visitors to the North Lake Tahoe area now have one less chore to do before being able to enjoy a weekend of snow skiing or boarding: Grocery shopping. A new grocery delivery service is now available in the areas of Tahoe Donner and Donner Lake in Truckee to Incline Village and down to Tahoma on the West Shore. This also includes properties at the North Shore ski resorts of Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Diamond Peak and Sugar Bowl.
Tahoe To Your Door will deliver your pre-ordered groceries to your rental home or condo before you arrive. The cost includes the total grocery receipt, a $40 delivery fee ($50 for Homewood and Incline Village) and 20 percent of the total grocery bill. Groceries include everything from meat, dairy and fresh produce to toiletries, and baby care items, and you can order everything online from their website. Tahoe To Your Door will purchase your requested brand or the closest equivalent.
All payments to the service are processed through Authorize.net and billing information is required to hold an order, but you will not be billed until the delivery is made. Tahoe To Your Door will need the exact address or location for delivery as well as contact information for the property manager. Tahoe To Your Door will need entry permission to stock your rental property or will set up an alternative time to deliver your groceries.
