Next season's haute équestre threads and some of the top horsewomen graced the time-honored tracks of the Sonoma Horse Park for the annual Giant Steps Classic Six Bar and Gala, sponsored by Gucci. The Italian house of high fashion proudly sponsored sponsored elite horsewomen Edwina Tops-Alexander and Jessica Springsteen, as well as presenting the annual Gucci Paris Masters. 

This is the second year the fashion house partnered with the noted Sonoma-based horse park and charity to benefit the programs at Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center, an organization that offers life-changing help for people of all ages, from veterans with PTSD to children with autism. The two notable events of the weekend were Saturday’s Six Bar and Gala ­— featuring a cocktail reception, a Gucci pop-up shop, and a lavish dinner — and the $40,000 Shaklee Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon. 

Notable guests included actress Maggie Grace, two-time USA Olympic hockey goalie Ryan Miller, SF philanthropists Christina and Vanessa Getty, and many others.
