Harwell Godfrey's latest charity pendant is bursting with Pride! 

The third time's most definitely the charm when it comes to designer Lauren Harwell Godfrey's new Rainbow Heart Talisman. Released just in time to kick off Pride Month, 100 percent of the profits of the beautiful piece—designed as a healing talisman—go to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). Handcrafted from pink, orange, yellow and blue sapphires, green tsavorite, amethyst, and diamonds and set in 18-karat yellow gold, the detachable pendant joins three older siblings created for charitable causes: the Black Onyx Heart for NAACP, a Malachite Heart for World Central Kitchen, and Chalcedony Heart for Futures Without Violence.

"I personally chose HRC as the organization whose good work I want to support with the proceeds from this heart," says Godfrey. "I believe in equality for all and until the LGBTQ+ community is treated justly under the law, their human rights and freedom are in jeopardy. I created an heirloom-quality version of the iconic rainbow so that we can visibly show our support everyday…for Pride and beyond."

Support local makers and get your DIY on at the Patchwork Show in Santa Rosa.

Take that, Covid! You won't stop this go-round of the biannual Patchwork Show Modern Makers Festival. This Sunday, June 6th (from 11am to 5pm), the Sonoma County Fairgrounds will host more than 75 indie designers and makers selling everything from accessories and and apparel to art and ceramics, apothecary and jewelry. There will also be wares from young entrepreneurs and artists in the Patchwork Junior section. Plus, everyone is encouraged to get their own creative juices flowing by taking part in the hands-on craft stations. Even better…this family-friendly event is F-R-E-E. And, yes, y'all still have to wear your masks.
